BizSpace launches a new centre in Christchurch

BizSpace, the UK’s largest provider of flexible workspace, has opened a new business centre offering flexible and affordable workspace in Christchurch, Dorset.  Aerodrome Studios will provide space for entrepreneurs and SMEs from across the region, including Bournemouth and Poole.

Acquired by BizSpace in 2018 and extensively refurbished, Aerodrome Studios has now been officially opened by Mike Cox, Councillor and Parliamentary Candidate for Christchurch, and Alex Aitken, Chef Patron at The Jetty.

The property is made up of two buildings offering 27,800 sq ft of flexible office suites, studios and workshops over two floors. Customers will benefit from stylishly designed communal areas, 135 car parking spaces and separate external entrances for workshops.

The property is located 1.9 miles from Christchurch train station and 5.4 miles from Bournemouth Airport, offering fast connections to the rest of the UK and Europe. Numerous amenities are located nearby, including supermarkets, various food outlets and retail stores.

Emma Long, Commercial Director at BizSpace said: Our centres offer high-quality workspace and a supportive community to help people start, grow and develop their businesses. With more people choosing to set up on their own or go freelance, demand for convenient, affordable workspace on flexible terms is growing. We look forward to meeting the Dorset SMEs and microbusinesses who will call this centre home.”

Mike Cox, Councillor and Parliamentary Candidate for Christchurch, said: “Small businesses are vital to our local economy and, with this impressive new centre, BizSpace has created a place for them to grow and prosper. Christchurch offers an excellent environment for business, combining good transport and a friendly local business network with a high quality of living and scenic coastline surroundings. Our region is already home to some exceptional small businesses and I look forward to hearing the success stories that will come out of this centre.”
