AFC Bournemouth has presented Bournemouth Chamber of Trade and Commerce with an official Bournemouth Shirt to celebrate their AFC Business partnership

AFC Bournemouth has presented the Bournemouth Chamber of Trade and Commerce (BCTC) with an official Bournemouth team shirt in celebration of their immensely successful partnership with the AFC Business Club. Connor Mahoney, AFC Bournemouth’s brilliant new young player was on hand at the presentation to help celebrate the success of the last few years and the continued partnership between the two organisations.

AFC Business is AFC Bournemouth’s free to join business club, supported by BCTC. The Club was started in 2009 and now boasts over 1,600 members representing a broad spectrum of the region’s business community.  AFC Business provides members with a range of benefits: excellent networking opportunities, special events such as their regular Breakfast Meetings, invitations to high-profile charity events, and discounted offers.

Rob Mitchell, Commercial Director at AFC Bournemouth, said:

As a Premier League football club, we know all about the importance of teamwork. When everyone pulls together to achieve a common goal, that’s when you gain success. The same rules apply in business. The growth of our Business Club and the support it has attracted from companies across the region is evidence of that.”

Bournemouth Chamber of Trade and Commerce was founded in 1916 and has an established reputation for supporting business in or trading into Bournemouth. With more than 500 local Chamber members, it acts as the voice of the town’s businesses, bringing their concerns to the notice of the Council and raising awareness of their needs.

Martin Davies, BCTC President, added:

“We are delighted to receive the Bournemouth shirt as a symbol of our continuing partnership with AFC Bournemouth. The AFC Business Club plays a significant role in the life of the local business community, bringing companies together to share ideas and experiences in an informal, relaxed environment. We are looking forward to helping it grow and expand still further over the next few years.”
