Safety-conscious solicitors Coles Miller have appointed a new marketing manager…who is also a volunteer lifeguard.
Nick Balchin was formerly Head of Marketing at a Bournemouth-based financial software company.
Before that he spent three years at an international insurer managing marketing campaigns and launching an award-winning innovative digital product.
Nick is a member of Southbourne Surf Life Saving Club. He regularly competes in national and local lifeguard competitions. He is also a keen triathlete and competes in triathlons on the south coast.
On Christmas Day this year, Nick was again a volunteer lifeguard at the Macmillan White Christmas Dip at Boscombe Pier.
Hardy swimmers charged into the icy surf to raise cash for Macmillan Caring Locally. The local unit provides specialist palliative care to patients that have advanced and progressive incurable illnesses with complex symptoms.
