Eco Hub Kingsleigh Primary School display

The Dolphin Shopping Centre in Poole has partnered with Kingsleigh Primary School in Bournemouth to display the pupils’ environmental project work in its Eco Hub.

The year-6 work will be on display at the Eco Hub on Thursday February 14 from 11am-3pm. The pupils have been encouraged to develop recycling projects and environmental programmes to benefit the local community.

Simon Hart, year leader at Kingsleigh Primary School, commented: “Our year-6 pupils have been given the task of designing their own programmes, as part of our environmental topic. We have shared some ideas with them to inspire their creations and look forward to seeing the best ideas presented at the Eco Hub for parents and the local community to come and support.”

John Grinnell, centre manager at the Dolphin Shopping Centre, commented: “We like to keep shoppers entertained with a range of events and exhibitions throughout the year and feel that by showcasing Kingsleigh Primary School’s project work, we will be supporting their creations and filling them with confidence knowing the public is viewing their work.”

The Eco Hub launched in 2018 as part of the Dolphin’s ongoing commitment to sustainability. It is open during the centre’s regular opening hours and is free to use. Email info@dolphinshoppingcentre.co.uk with any booking enquiries.
