Dangerous Goods courses help you stay up-to-date with the latest industry regulations and procedures, and ensure that your dangerous goods shipments comply with industry standards.

Some items may endanger the safety of an aircraft or persons on board, and the air transportation of these dangerous materials can either be forbidden or restricted. This is an introduction to the relevant leglisation and will help you decide the appropriate action to take.

Responsibilities of the parties – shipper, consignor, operator, courier
Classes of dangerous goods
UN numbers
Proper shipping names
Packing groups and packing instructions
Marking
Labelling of packages
Excepted quantities
Limited quantities
Documentation – an overview
Shipment checking
Lithium Batteries

All persons involved in the preparation and shipping of dangerous goods must have appropriate training. This will vary depending on the tasks undertakenm but an indication of the training requirements is set out in the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR). The latest version is due to be published Jan 2019, so this is a timely session to help your business stay compliant.

Who should attend?
All staff involved in the packing and shipping of goods consider 'dangerous' including shipping/logistics, warehouse and finance.

In the event of a booking being cancelled prior to the scheduled course date, the following charges will apply:

30+ days notice = 25%
14-30 days notice = 50%
<14 days notice = 100%

Bookings can be transferred to a later date but will incur a £10 admin fee.
