Dorset Chamber is pleased to announce the second in our series of quarterly forums sponsored by TheNonExec Limited promoting emerging technologies and manufacturing excellence. This is a rare local opportunity to tour one of the UK's High Value Manufacturing Catapult (HVMC) centres and meet with leading experts seeking to solve the world's most complex engineering challenges.
With a visit planned to the National Composites Centre (NCC) at Bristol and Bath Science Park this will offer an exciting opportunity to learn more about the development and implementation of composite manufactuing technologies and systems.
The day will include an exclusive tour of the World-Class facility home of Britain's high tech composite engineering R&D including: Material testing facilities, automated fibre placement machines, non-destructive testing cell, machining cells, curing area, high volume manufacturing area (including new injection overmoulder and the world's largest open access composite press), clean room facilities, overbraider, training centre and more! (*subject to commercial sensitivity on the day)
A lunch will be served at midday followed by a Q and A session in the afternoon. The visit will conclude at 2.30pm.
