  • Introduction to Trade
  • Business Responsibilities
  • Export process
  • Import process
  • Valuation – explanation of the main methods and their application
  • Classification – determining the use of commodity codes
  • Using Customs Procedure Codes – use of appropriate CPCs
  • Export and import controls
  • Reliefs
  • Preferences
  • Customs simplified procedures – explanation of procedures and benefits

COURSE OPTIONS

Face to face classroom courses (includes pre-course E-learning modules):

  • Accredited Chamber members £280 + VAT
  • Non-members £350 + VAT

Online E-Learning modules

5 hours of e-learning is available as standalone option. Offers flexibility to candidates who can work at their own pace, dip in and out as time demands and complete the modules in any order.

The cost of the online e-learning course is:

    • Members £190 + VAT
    • Non-members £230 + VAT
    • Bulk bookings discounts are available for members, training must be booked as a bulk order
    • 5 Candidates+ (5%)
    • 10 candidates + (10%)
    • 15 candidates+ (15%)
    • 20 Candidates+ (20%)

It has been made possible through HM Treasury and HMRC’s investment in training provision in this area, to help increase capacity of the sector ahead of March 2019.

Remember that you may be eligible for a Government Grant. Depending on your company size, a grant could cover 50-70% of the cost of training your employees.
