The Saudi Arabian authorities recently introduced a requirement for ‘Businesss Introduction Letters’ which must be certified and accompany Business Visa applications submitted to the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia. Dorset Chamber of Commerce & Industry is authorised to certify the document for you.
What is the form of wording I need to use in the introductory letter?
A template that incorporates the official wording is available from Dorset Chamber. This needs to be prepared on your company headed paper.
What do I need to do in order to certify my letter?
Before we can certify your introductory letter you must complete and send a Formal Undertaking to export@dcci.co.uk. If you have already obtained certified export documentation from us in the past we may already hold a Formal Undertaking for your business.
How much does it cost?
The standard issue fee is £17.50+VAT for Dorset Chamber members (£35+VAT for non-members). This increases to £33.50+VAT and £51.00+VAT for personal callers who use the ‘while you wait’ service.
Where do I send my introductory letter?
Send your document to: International Trade Services, Dorset Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Acorn Office Park, Ling Road, Poole, Dorset, BH11 9PJ.
Who can I speak to for advice?
Contact the International Trade team on 01202 714807 or email export@dcci.co.uk for further information.
