Lasting partnerships for Dorset’s Neon Run

Dorset’s Neon Run, in aid of Diverse Abilities, is pleased to announce continuing partnerships with The Kitchen and Nick de Souza from Big Night Out, as part of the event returning to Poole Park in April.

The Kitchen, based in Poole Park, will continue to host the night’s registration facilities and prepare a variety of refreshments available to purchase throughout. Nick de Souza, from Big Night Out, provides the sound and lighting equipment to help create the atmosphere on the night. Both businesses have been involved with the Dorset Neon Run since day one.

Karen Hay, events manager at Diverse Abilities, said: “The Dorset Neon Run is a fantastic feel good event that allows people of all paces to take part in a 5k. Our corporate partners are so valuable in helping us bring everything together and provide an evening that everyone is sure to enjoy.”

The run attracts hundreds of participants each year, fundraising for Dorset’s disability charity, Diverse Abilities. Elaine Day, from Poole, has participated in the event every year since its launch in 2017.

Elaine commented: “I’m super excited to be taking part in the Dorset Neon Run again this year. I’ve done this event every year since it began, and I love the community feel and how friendly everyone is. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the fact that we’re all raising money for a very worthwhile charity is a bonus. If anyone is thinking of coming along and concerned about their level of fitness or not wanting to participate on their own, my advice would be to join in!”
