Law firm backs Dorset Wildlife Trust

Leading law firm, Humphries Kirk, has joined Dorset Wildlife Trust’s Environmental Responsibility Network to help protect Dorset’s precious wildlife. As a new corporate supporter of the charity, Humphries Kirk will help build a sustainable future for Dorset’s wildlife and people.

Simon Cross, partner at Humphries Kirk, commented: “At Humphries Kirk, we understand the importance of giving back to our local community and we’re all excited to have signed up to the charity’s environmental responsibility network. Not only will our partnership benefit the charity, but our employees will benefit at the same time.

“I have personally been a member of the Dorset Wildlife Trust for some time and a family member for some years, and I speak on behalf of the firm when I say we’re excited to see where this new partnership will take us. Our corporate partnership allows us to be part of a growing community of business leaders, with staff benefits including guided walks at Dorset Wildlife Trust experts and the opportunity to set up teambuilding days at Dorset Wildlife Trust nature reserves.”

At last month’s Business Breakfast in Poundbury, organised and hosted by Humphries Kirk, Sally Cooper, corporate development officer at Dorset Wildlife Trust, was welcomed as guest speaker. Sally delivered a presentation about the charity’s spring-autumn 2019 campaign, ‘Get Dorset Buzzing.’

Sally commented: “We’re delighted that Humphries Kirk has joined our network as a corporate supporter. Dorset is world-famous for its breath-taking landscapes and natural environment and we rely on the support of local businesses to take proactive steps to enhance the habitats and wildlife around us.”

Humphries Kirk has offices in Bournemouth, Parkstone, Poole, Swanage, Wareham, Dorchester and Crewkerne and has an international network of lawyers. Visit www.hklaw.eu for more information.
