Global structural steel firm John Reid & Sons Ltd (REIDsteel) has strengthened its top team with two new directors.
The Christchurch-based business has promoted Donna Campo to operations director and appointed Simon Morgan as financial director. They are pictured with managing director Simon Boyd before social distancing was introduced.
Both will sit on REIDsteel’s board as the company looks to the future despite the coronavirus pandemic.
Managing director Simon Boyd said: “Donna and Simon are high calibre individuals who will help take REIDsteel to the next level.
“Donna has excelled in every role she has taken since starting at REIDsteel, while Simon joins the team with a highly impressive background in strategic finance.

Donna joined REIDsteel as Simon Boyd’s PA in 2012, rising to contracts office manager and then operations manager.
She said: “REIDsteel is a forward looking company which encourages professional development and rewards success.
“I’ve enjoyed developing my career with the company and very much look forward to continuing in my new role on my return from maternity leave.”
Simon Morgan held executive positions in a wide range of divisions at Dorset-based aerospace and defence giant Cobham before joining REIDsteel.
He said: “REIDsteel has achieved great success in a century of trading. I am delighted to join the company and help it realise its ambitious growth plans for the future.”
The appointments were made as REIDsteel continues to plan for the future following its centenary in 2019 and despite the current lockdown.
Managing director Simon Boyd said: “The company has been taking all necessary measures available to ensure the health, safety and welfare of all our staff which is our primary concern.
“Our safety team has been looking at ways to alter working arrangements so that we can get back to full productivity as quickly as possible.”
