Ringwood Sixth Formers Gain IT Positions

Two former Sixth form students from Ringwood School have gained their first jobs with Ringwood based IT Software Solutions company, KFA Connect.

Andras Ujlaki and Sam Cork, both aged 18, have joined as Trainee Software Developers at the £2.7m turnover company that employees 27 designers, system developers and software testers having gained their A level in Computer Science, following a 2-year course.

Richard Austin, Director, at KFA Connect said that he is delighted that the company was able to recruit the talented students locally: “We get a large number of applications each summer from 6th Form, College and University students seeking employment. This year Andras and Sam were ideal candidates for our trainee positions.”

The students say that they are aware that the 5 students in their course have managed to gain relevant employment and praise their course tutor Dave Robinson for his professionalism and enthusiastic tutoring.

“We are delighted that Andras and Sam are working well with our established team who work on a variety of projects for an equally wide range of organisations. We also encourage future IT students interested to experience our working environment as a Job Preview and spend some time in our offices discussing the roles with our team members,” said Richard Austin. “I’m sure that there are thousands of people who have thought that they had wished that they had known the reality of the day to day duties required in what they thought was their dream job!”
