Santa’s Post Room at Dolphin Shopping Centre

Families can enjoy festive crafts and write their letters to Santa at the Dolphin Shopping Centre in Poole.

Santa’s Post Room will open every Saturday and Sunday in the lead up to Christmas Day starting from this Saturday, November 30. Children and their families will be able to enjoy a host of free activities between 11am and 4pm in the dedicated festive unit on the first floor opposite Wilko. The festive activities will be taking place on November 30, December 1, 7,  8, 14, 15, 21 and 22.

Elves will be on hand to provide entertainment, arts and crafts, games and dressing up as well as providing post office duties in their North Pole Post Office for the children’s Christmas wish list letters. Following the crafting fun and games, children will have the opportunity to meet Santa himself ahead of him delivering presents on December 25.

John Grinnell, Dolphin Shopping Centre manager, said: “We are excited to welcome families and give them the chance to visit Santa in his post room at the Dolphin Shopping Centre. He is looking forward to hearing about what is on children’s Christmas wish lists.. His mischievous elves will also be on-hand to help children to make a range of Christmas crafts for them to take away and decorate their homes with.”

Shoppers can enjoy a host of decorations throughout the Dolphin Shopping Centre including the popular ‘King of the Forest’, a six-metre lit-up stag outside the Beales department store, and Forest Holme Hospice’s iconic Tree of Remembrance outside Marks & Spencer. Shoppers will be able to dedicate a Light Up a Life star in memory of a loved one each day until Wednesday, December 18 in exchange for a donation to the good cause.
