Firms in Dorset are being urged to help make business’s voice heard in the corridors of power.
The Dorset Chamber has opened its latest Quarterly Economic Survey (QES), to take the temperature of business and pinpoint key issues.
Dorset responses will be added to those from other chambers accredited with the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC).
Dorset Chamber chief executive Ian Girling said: “The QES is the largest regular business survey in the UK.
“The results are highly regarded at the highest level of Government and at the Bank of England.
“I would urge all Dorset firms to take part, especially in the current political and economic climate.
“It means that we in Dorset can have our say while giving added strength to BCC in its lobbying to ensure that the voice of business is heard by those in power.”
Ian added: “At a local level, the results will help gauge business sentiment and give greater understanding of key issues.
“They will also be shared with leading stakeholders that the Chamber works with, including the Dorset Local Economic Partnership.”
The Dorset Chamber – the county’s voice of business – is inviting members and non-members to take part in the survey.
It will publish the findings on its website and use them to shape its business support services in Dorset.
Celebrating its 70th anniversary this year, the Chamber is Dorset’s leading business support organisation.
The QES is open until June 10.
