The Westover Group, part of the UK’s largest network of motor dealerships, is celebrating after six brands represented by the group in Dorset and Wiltshire gained award recognition in the annual Auto Trader New Car Awards .
Awards are decided by feedback collated from a survey of more than 60,000 car owners, all of who rated their cars in 16 key areas such as driving enjoyment through to the best car for dog owners. Scores for every model featured in the survey were totalled to calculate an overall score and this in turn highlighted which model car buyers found the most satisfying to own.
Dacia, Jaguar, Kia, Lexus, Skoda and Toyota – all represented by the Westover Group – received acknowledgement in the 2019 awards, with Toyota and Dacia ‘driving’ away with two each. Awards wins are as follows:
- Best Car for City Drivers – Toyota C-HR
- Best Value Brand 2019 – Dacia
- Best Seven-Seater 2019 – Skoda Kodiaq
- Best Car for Towing 2019 – Kia Sportage
- Best Pickup 2019 – Toyota Hilux
- Best Value New Car 2019 – Dacia Duster
- Most Reliable Brand 2019 – Lexus
- Brand with the Best Features 2019 – Jaguar
