Ward Goodman To Host Seventh Annual Dorset Charities Conference With An Agenda To Inspire Collaborative Thinking

Ward Goodman, the Dorset based firm of Chartered Accountants and Independent Financial Advisers, will be hosting their annual Dorset Charities Conference on Thursday 5th July at Queen Elizabeth School, Wimborne.

Now in its seventh year, the event, supported by Teachers Building Society and CAF Bank, will see trade stands, presentations and networking opportunities bring together charities and sector suppliers, with the aim of facilitating collaborative working.

Doors open at 9am for stand registrations, with events kicking off at 10am.  Speakers at this year’s event will include Jon Yates, CEO of Dorset Community Foundation, and Dr Claire Routley, Consultant at Legacy Fundraising.

Jen Richardson, Audit & Charities Director at Ward Goodman commented: “This conference is special to the local charities community as it offers a day of variety, including listening to eminent speakers, learning from others and networking with specialist suppliers.  It’s a day organised for members of charities and community organisations to share ideas, experiences and identify opportunities to work together.”

Ian Girling, Chief Executive at DCCI, said: “The Ward Goodman Charities conference is a must for Dorset charities. Now established as the leading charity event in Dorset, the event offers charities a great opportunity to network and discuss key issues for the sector. It also offers an extremely valuable opportunity for businesses and charities to connect.”
