Celebrating 10 years of Brewery Square

The £100 million development Brewery Square, located in Dorchester, hosted an evening of entertainment for local residents to  celebrate its 10th birthday.

The evening’s activities took place at the Square where residents of all ages enjoyed complimentary entertainment.

Morrish & Banham Wine Merchant and Tasting Rooms provided prosecco and canapes for all guests, accompanied by The String Quartet, who played Bach to Van Morrison throughout the evening.

Entertainment was provided by the Weldmar Hospicecare Strictly Champions followed by Strictly Come Dancing stars, Robin Windsor and Anya Garnis, who performed a slow dance and a cha-cha.

The event was rounded off with a performance from classical soprano singer, Jennifer Coleman.

Charlotte Spracklen, centre manager at Brewery Square, said: “We’d like to thank all those that joined us at our 10th anniversary celebrations. We hope everyone had a fantastic night as we certainly enjoyed sharing the evening with them all. The dancing competition hosted by Robin was a great laugh and Albert’s dance moves were enjoyed by all!”

Weldmar Hospicecare Trust, who provide specialist support for patients and families, raised £700 on the night from voluntary donations, all of which will go towards providing end of life care for people living in Dorset.

The offering at Brewery Square includes, Belle Modelle, Woods Furniture, Thomas J William, The Highbrow Clinic, Pizza Express, Hendover Café, Nandos, The Deli Kitchen and Costa Coffee. Visit https://www.brewerysquare.com/ for more information about Brewery Square.
