Bus driver Clive Egan is celebrating this week – after being named employee of the year by Poole-based operator, Morebus.
Clive is known by colleagues and managers alike for his friendly and positive disposition, and was presented with his award at the company’s annual ceremony.
“An outstanding individual who spends his day smiling and bolstering everyone he meets with his positive attitude and friendly greeting, Clive is loved by both customers and colleagues,” said operations director, David Lee-Kong.
“Since joining Morebus in 2018, he has received words of praise time after time – sharing positivity with everyone he encounters. He is the definition of a great, modern, forward-thinking bus driver.
“I was thrilled to present Clive with his award and wish him a successful year ahead.”
Clive added: “I’m delighted to be honoured with this award – despite excellent competition from my Morebus colleagues. Being recognised in this way makes me very proud – and is driving me on to make an even greater impression over the coming months.”
In recognition of his efforts, Clive received £1,500 worth of vouchers and a framed certificate.
