Dorset Mind’s 1st Charity Ball Black Tie & Sparkle

This is Dorset Mind’s first Charity Ball – being held partly to celebrate the amazing work that has been achieved by its staff and volunteers over recent years.

Although Dorset Mind are an affiliate of National Mind, they are an independent charity, responsible for all their own fundraising. They are a pioneering and growing charity that raises awareness about mental health, challenges stigma and provides a range of support for adults and young people across Dorset. Their education programmes change lives, their campaigns are changing conversations, and their services are both preventative and restorative. This charity ball fundraiser will help fund all of their vital work.

The Dorset Mind Charity Ball event is the perfect excuse to get dressed up and have a fantastic evening of celebrations! Upon arrival, you will receive a welcome drink followed by a delicious 2-course sit-down meal. Every guest will have the opportunity to have their photo taken at our magic mirror photo booth and play at the casino with fun money. You can, of course, enter our raffle and silent auction to have the chance to win some unique prizes. The evening will also include entertainment from local acts!

Dorset Mind’s CEO Marianne Storey said – “This is a fantastic event for Dorset Mind. It is a fun and glamorous way to celebrate the amazing progress we have made in achieving our ambitions to reach out to and support the Dorset community about mental health. It takes huge resources to run our charity, so this is also a way to raise money allowing us to continue to do what we do in Dorset. I hope people will come and join us to celebrate our work and at the same time raise more funds for us.  I am personally looking forward to the chance to dress up and I hope this is the first of many.
