Both arms of the business run by Tony & Molly Beales have won top accolades in the regional finals of the national Wedding Industry Awards.
Beales Gourmet was named best Wedding Caterer whilst The Italian Villa picked up the gong for Best Venue (town/city) in the South West, beating competition from across Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Somerset, Wiltshire, Avon and Gloucestershire.
The awards ceremony took place on 21st November at Rockbeare Manor, Devon, with over 150 audience members from across 23 categories. The awards are based on feedback from actual customers, and then scrutinised by an expert industry panel of judges. Collecting the accolades on stage were Tony Beales and commercial manager, Justin Cohen.
Mr Beales, managing director of Beales Gourmet and The Italian Villa, commented:
“What a night we had! Winning one award was fantastic, but you never expect to win two! Our team were just over the moon when we shared the news with them. We really want to thank our wedding couples for scoring us so highly in both categories – these awards are so important to us because they are based on actual customer feedback. Now we are holding our thumbs for the national finals in London!”
The awards are run nationally, with all regional winners pitted against each other at the national finals at the Café de Paris in London on 16th January 2019.
