Julia’s House named PKF Francis Clark’s Centenary charity

PKF Francis Clark has announced that they will be supporting local charity and award winning Children’s Hospice, Julia’s House, as their 2019 Centenary charity partner of the year.

The award-winning firm that has offices in Poole and Salisbury and is currently celebrating 100 years, is now the leading Chartered Accountant and Business Advisory firm in the South West.

The firm has this year chosen to support a single charitable cause for its Centenary and this cause was agreed to be one that provides palliative, respite, end of life and bereavement care for life-limited and terminally ill children and their families.

Julia’s House is based in Dorset and Wiltshire and is dedicated to bringing comfort and care to families across the two counties. The charity provides practical and emotional support, tailoring their care to the needs of each individual child and their family, providing frequent and regular support in their own homes, in the community or at their hospices.

The Poole and Salisbury offices of PKF Francis Clark promise an exciting calendar of events and activities for its team members across both offices to get involved in over the course of the year to raise funds for Julia’s House.

James Robinson, PKF Francis Clark Partner said: “2019 is a special year for the firm, as we are celebrating 100 years. This milestone in our history gives us even more of a reason to make 2019 our biggest year for fundraising yet – we want to give something even bigger back to our community.

Julia’s House is a fantastic charity and they are very renowned in the local area for the care they provide for children with life limiting illnesses. We are delighted to this year be supporting the team at Julia’s House and look forward to showing everyone what we get up to during our fundraising.”

Sue Miles, Julia’s House said “We are delighted that PKF Francis Clark has chosen to support Julia’s House in this special year for the firm. We are reliant on the generosity of the local community for 95% of our funding, so support from local businesses is vital and I am really looking forward to working with such an enthusiastic team this year.”

PKF Francis Clark is always keen to support local causes and for this reason, the firm’s Cornwall, Devon and Somerset offices will be collaborating to raise funds for Children’s Hospice South West. Funds raised throughout the year will be equally split between the two charities and as part of the 100 years celebrations, the firm has pledged to match the fundraising efforts.
