Law firm offers discounted LPAs

Leading law firm Humphries Kirk is offering a 20 per cent discount off its Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA) services for appointments booked between Monday, May 20, until Friday, May 24.

There are two kinds of LPAs that people may require in later life; Health and Welfare and Property and Financial Affairs. Both are legal documents whereby an individual gives another person, or persons, authority to make certain decisions on their behalf.

Adam Scott, joint head of private client services at Humphries Kirk, commented: “Many do not realise the importance of having an LPA in place while they are younger and still able to make decisions for themselves. People need to consider who they would trust when it comes to making difficult decisions should they lose the mental capacity to make them, and sometimes family members are not the best option.”

Appointments for the discounted service must be made during the promotional week of Monday, May 20, until Friday, May 24, but can be taken any time until Friday, June 21. Those interested in booking an appointment should visit hklaw.eu to find contact details for their local office.
