Maidmans regularly gives back to the Dorset community and are delighted to help several local charities (including Macmillan Caring Locally, Dorset Mind and Diverse Abilities). For the past two years they have even collected hundreds of pine Christmas Trees for recycling, donating both vehicles and drivers for free over several days!
Maidmans were the first UK company to gain all three-industry specific British standards: BS EN 12522 for household removals, BS EN 14873 for storage of personal effects and BS 8522 for commercial moving. They have added a fourth British standard, the BS EN 15713 for confidential destruction.
Employing a core team of highly experienced removal men, on average each staff member has gained almost 20 years within the industry and four full time staff have each worked for over three decades moving homes and offices.
The company has once again entered the British Association of Removers (BAR) prestigious UK wide Domestic Mover of the Year (DMotY) and Commercial Mover of the Year (CMotY) competitions and have reached the final for both. The winner of DMotY and CMotY will be announced during the gala dinner at the BAR Conference on Saturday 25th May.
