Bournemouth-based fintech firm, DJS (UK) Limited, is embracing the festive season of giving with a donation of more than 420 jars of coffee, pasta sauces and curry sauces to the Bournemouth Foodbank.
Dan Ware, CEO at DJS (UK) Limited, commented: “We know how important it is to give back to the local community, and our team is really keen to donate to the Bournemouth Foodbank this year. We’ve been collecting items for our donation over the past three months and we really hope it will make a big difference to those in need.”
In 2017 the company collected more than 400 selection boxes, which were distributed to hospitals and hospices in the Hampshire area. Since relocating its base to Bournemouth town centre, DJS (UK) Limited chose to support an organisation on its doorstep.
Having recently celebrated its 10-year anniversary of helping people, the Bournemouth Foodbank is part of the national organisation Trussell Trust. Funded and operated by local churches and community groups, it works towards stopping hunger in our local area.
