Trethowans shows support for military personnel

Trethowans is showing its support for servicemen and women across the region by sponsoring Salisbury’s forthcoming Armed Forces Day event.

The city is hosting a three-day national festival – from Friday 28 to Sunday 30 June – celebrating the work of the country’s military personnel. With plans for parades, activities, live entertainment, a firework display and a historic fly past, organisers are expecting a large turnout of local people and visitors alike.

“Salisbury and Wiltshire are well-known for their military history and connections,” said Chris Whiteley, managing partner at Trethowans. “With an office here in the city, we work with a number of armed forces personnel on everything from wills and house purchases assisting with claims to make sure they receive an appropriate level of compensation.

“With this in mind, we’re delighted to be a sponsor of this exciting event. It promises to be a real celebration of the heroes who spend their working lives protecting and representing our country.

“The team here at Trethowans is looking forward to what promises to be a wonderful weekend of thanks and celebration.”
